My guess is that China will attack Taiwan. Barack will only complain and whine. Next, Israel will be attacked by Iran. Why, because the middle east assumes Obama is an anti-semite because of his associations. By the end of an Obama first term, Israel will be at war with all of its enemies. Barack will just protest, but won't act. Obama is a weakling who will put America on the run from its responsibilites to its allies.

Comment on Lets Not be Doomed to Repeat History (Part 1)

Very good and refreshing to know that voters are reading and spreading the correct facts for all to read. The money the participants elected to put into the program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year.<br />2. The annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

Comment on Bar Stool Economics

Another issue that relates to this is corporate taxes. You see, corporations do not pay taxes. Now, hold on - a large share of their net income does go to the government. But they cover that by passing that cost on to us with higher prices. If the Obama tax increase costs McDonald's an extra dime for every hamburger it sells, you can count on Ronald raising the price on that sandwich. Or worse, laying off employees to absorb the cost. Socialism does not work.

Comment on Bar Stool Economics

A young man with a head on his shoulders

Comment on Let's Not be Doomed to Repeat History (Part 2)

Get out and vote for McCain so we don't have to deal with this test! The fact the she is a woman doesn't bother me. There are some churches that don't think women should have leadership positions but not all. I know the scripture they use to justify that but if you look throughout the Bible you will see where God used many women to get things done. Debrah comes to mind. I, too, am considerably above 30 and it worries me that so many don't seem to understand what socialism is. We need to stop using the term "liberal" and replace it with what it is, "socialism". If you really want to know what socialism is just read the preface to Karl Marx's Manifesto of the Communist Party by Friedrich Engles. I know some will say, "oh, you're just old and see commies behind every tree". I don't think so. As the first sentence of the article says, study history you might learn something.

Comment on Let's Not be Doomed to Repeat History (Part 2)

A "Rock Star" tour of Europe does not count as foreign policy experience. The leaders of the world have all rallied behind B.O. because he will weaken America, givng them the perception of strength. He has no foreign policy background, and wants to have pleasant chats with terror mongers. How about tea and Tomahawks. Bush may have made some mistakes, but we haven't been attacked since 9/11.
